PROJECTS
1. MUSIC
Ongoing development of the recordings from the Nuba Mountains in 2003 and 2006-2007 are progressing. Funding for this project is needed to pay for studio time, musicians, etc. Please consider being a part of this historic project through donations toward these needs.

2. VIDEO
Video production has mostly been focused on developing reports and music videos for presentations. A future documentary will be incorporating much of what's been done through these videos, with footage coming from interviews as well. We hope to fnish production on the documentary.

3. ADVOCACY
Joining Our Voices is a founding member and "core leader" with the coalition of ACT for Sudan.
Act for Sudan is an alliance of American citizen activists and Sudanese U.S. residents who advocate for an end to genocide and mass atrocities in Sudan. Act for Sudan is dedicated to advocacy that is directly informed by the situation on the ground and by Sudanese people who urgently seek protection, justice, and peace. |
4. RELIEF
Joining Our Voices, along with our long term partner organization and friends, Nuba Christian Family Mission (NCFM), is a founding member and a lead coordinator with End Nuba Genocide Coalition (ENG). Through NCFM, we work in direct support and collaboration with the Nuba Relief, Rehabilitation, and Development Organization (NRRDO), which is an indigenous organization formed in the '90s during the first genocide of the Nuba as the humanitarian arm of their local government.
The End Nuba Genocide Coalition is an international network of organizations, faith-based institutions, genocide scholars, and individuals who have come together to raise funds for the purchasing and delivery of urgently needed humanitarian aid for the victims of the genocide in the Nuba Mountains of Sudan. Through the long term relationships established through Joining Our Voices and Nuba Christian Family, we work directly with the NRRDO to coordinate our relief work. Our mission is three-pronged:

5. CONCERTS
Joining Our Voices is available for concerts, presentations, and events to speak about the genocides in Sudan, and in particular, the Nuba genocides. Teaching on worship and how the church is called to respond in these times with intercession and action is incorporated for spiritual development and formation.

6. CHRISTMAS
Joining Our Voices is hoping to be in Sudan for Christmas once again. This year we hope to actually document the remarkable way that the Church in Sudan observes Advent and Christmas by calling everyone to prepare for the 2nd Coming of Jesus, culminating on Christmas Eve in an all night vigil of worship, singing, dancing, preaching, and watching for the return of The King of Kings!
